About Us
The Norman Studios Silent Film Museum is a project of Old Arlington, Inc.* to renovate the Norman Studios complex located in Historic Old Arlington, an area of Jacksonville, Florida, to its original condition when operated as the Norman Studios. The complex will be used as a museum of silent film in Jacksonville and northeast Florida. The grand event of our opening in 2009/2010 will be the showing of the only silent film still in existence that was shot there, "The Flying Ace."
The Norman Studios is the only known remaining silent film studio complex still standing. ... anywhere. The complex consists of five buildings, now going through renovation. One building was in much better shape currently due to it being renovated by its current owner, The Circle of Faith Ministries. We are in the process of raising funds to purchase the fifth building. We need your help to make the Norman Studios Silent Film Museum a reality. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to:

The website continues to grow with more rich content constantly being added. Each time you return there is probably something new that you have not seen. If you have not already done so, make sure you visit the Help page as it explains many things about the website that can make it easier to use compared to other websites. Also, the site map is a great reference as it lists almost everything.
We do a pretty good job of proofreading and not forgetting to run spell check after making minor changes, however, slip-ups do occur. If you do encounter something irritating, misspelled, or just needs spell check run to eliminate the fat-finger work, you can always send us e-mail. Much thanks to you for doing so. Keep in mind though that we do not think that it is your responsibility to inform us of our mistakes so if you like, go ahead and enjoy the show.
